1. Shipping Destinations
We exclusively ship to valid United Kingdom addresses to ensure timely delivery and compliance with local safety standards for sleepwear. Our coverage includes:
  • Mainland UK: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland
  • Offshore Regions: Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey (Channel Islands)
International shipping is currently unavailable, and here’s why:
  • Safety & Compliance Risks: Children’s pajamas must adhere to the UK’s Children's Nightwear (Safety) Regulations 1985, which may conflict with international safety standards—risking customs rejection or delays.
  • Fabric Protection: Delicate fabrics (e.g., cotton, linen used in couple’s pajamas) are prone to wrinkling, moisture damage, or snags during long-haul transit, compromising product quality.
  • Cost Inefficiency: Shipping lightweight pajamas internationally often incurs high fees (exceeding product value) due to customs duties and courier surcharges.
For remote areas (e.g., Scottish Highlands, rural Northern Ireland, Isle of Man), an additional £5 GBP surcharge applies to all orders. This covers extended courier routes and extra protective packaging, and is automatically added at checkout when a remote address is entered.

  • Standard Shipping (via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or DPD Local):
  • UK Mainland (Major Cities: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool): 2–3 business days (local deliveries to WR12 7EL 周边 areas often arrive within 1–2 days).
  • UK Remote Areas: 4–5 business days (extended due to limited courier frequency and rural transit).
  • Isle of Man/Channel Islands: 5–7 business days (requires ferry/air transit + customs clearance for sleepwear products).
  • Expedited Shipping (via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD Next Day):
  • Available for all UK Mainland orders. Orders placed before 11:00 AM GMT qualify for next-day delivery; orders placed after this time ship the next business day.
  • Holiday Delays: Add 2–3 business days during peak periods (Christmas, Easter, Black Friday). For time-sensitive orders (e.g., children’s pajamas for a birthday), we recommend placing orders at least 5 business days in advance.
3. Order Processing Time
  • Non-Custom Pajamas (All Types): Processed within 1 business day of order placement (excludes weekends and UK public holidays: Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Bank Holidays).
  • Custom Pajamas (e.g., Embroidered Children’s Sets): Require an extra 1–2 business days for pre-production checks:
  • Verify embroidery details (e.g., child’s name, font style) to avoid errors.
  • Inspect fabric for flaws (e.g., snags in teen fleece pajamas) before customization.
  • Urgent Requests: If you need pajamas for a last-minute event (e.g., a couple’s weekend getaway), email 98.quilts-gazebos@icloud.com with your order number and “Urgent Pajama Delivery” in the subject line. We’ll prioritize processing and confirm if expedited shipping is available.
4. Packaging & Delivery Details
Protective Packaging (Tailored for Sleepwear)
We use sleepwear-specific packaging to preserve quality and prevent damage:
  • Children’s Pajamas: Wrapped in soft tissue paper (to avoid fabric irritation) and placed in padded envelopes—sets with multiple pieces (top + bottoms) include dividers to prevent friction.
  • Teen/Couple Pajamas: Folded neatly (along fabric grain to avoid permanent creases) and packed in rigid cardboard boxes—couple’s sets include a “Matching Pair” label to ensure both pieces are included.
  • All Orders: Waterproof outer wrapping to protect against rain or moisture during transit.
Tracking & Delivery Confirmation
  • Tracking: A unique tracking number is sent to your email within 24 hours of shipping. You can monitor delivery status via Royal Mail Track & Trace or DPD Track—ideal for planning receipt of children’s pajamas or bulk orders.
  • Delivery Confirmation: Required for all orders over £30 GBP to prevent theft or misdelivery. If no one is available to receive the package:
  1. The carrier leaves a delivery note with instructions to reschedule delivery or pick up from a local depot (valid for 10 business days).
  1. Most carriers attempt redelivery once (next business day) before returning the package to our WR12 7EL warehouse.
5. Delivery Issues & Claims
Lost or Delayed Orders
  1. First, check the tracking link—carriers often mark items as “in transit” even if delayed, or hold packages for address verification (e.g., missing house number, incorrect postcode).

Damaged or Missing Items

  • Damaged items: Send a replacement (no need to return the damaged one—we prioritize getting your sleepwear to you fast).
  • Missing items: Ship the missing piece(s) for free—we keep extra pajama bottoms/tops in stock for this purpose.
Incorrect Address
We are not liable for lost orders due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Double-check your address at checkout—changes can only be made within 24 hours of ordering (email our support team). If an order is returned to us, you will pay re-shipping costs (£1.99–£6.49, depending on the order type).
6. Additional Shipping Restrictions
  • PO Boxes: We ship single pajama sets to PO boxes, but not bulk orders (6+ sets) or custom embroidered pajamas—these require a physical street address for safe delivery and verification.
  • Bulk Orders for Businesses: For nurseries, hotels, or gift shops ordering 10+ pajama sets, contact us in advance. We offer discounted shipping via LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers and can label packages by recipient (e.g., “Nursery Room 101 Children’s Pajamas”).
  • Care Notes: With every order, we include a “Sleepwear Care Card” (e.g., how to remove wrinkles from linen couple’s pajamas, washing tips for flame-resistant children’s sets) to help you maintain product quality.
